How do I register?

Registration is available online (if not sold out) by visiting www.barishalmarathon.com . Alternatively, you can contact us, and we will be happy to e-mail a form to you, if the event is not sold out. You can also visit our nominated place (if we declare/select) and submit paper entry form. We do not accept phone entries.

What do I do if I cannot participate once I have registered?

All registrations are non-refundable and non-transferable. Once we receive and accept your entry, you will not receive a refund. If you cannot participate, you may not give or sell your number to anyone else and entry fees will not be transferred from year to year.

Can I switch races?

If you would like to switch races before the entry deadline, please email us and provide your request along with your entry confirmation email details.

If you decide to switch races after the entry deadline, simply show up at the kit distribution center/place during pick up of your race number. Registration fee will be adjusted as per race category.

There will be no change of race category on the race day and if you choose to run in different race category then your timing will be deemed as invalid.

If I faced problem during my registration, for example I have been charged but I did not receive a confirmation. What should I do?

Under exceptional cases, in case the transaction failed at the payment gateway stage, and if the money was debited but a confirmation was not generated, the money will be credited back to your account within 3 working days automatically. However, please email us with details of your registration - date of registration, name and your mail id and we will follow up to ensure the problem is tracked and dealt with.

How do I confirm if I am registered?

If you register online then you would receive registration confirmation email after successful payment transaction. All entries submitted in person at our nominated/selected place ((if we declare/select) will be treated as confirmed. Please Note: Final confirmation/information will be emailed to participants within 1 week before the event.

What if I did not receive a confirmation?

Confirmation SMS/E-mail is mandatory in order to claim your race number. If you did not receive any confirmation please bring a printout of your bank transaction record or bank deposit slip or confirmation email and a photo I.D. to the Barishal Marathon kit distribution center/place to pick up your race number and other items.

Can someone else pick up my race material?

All participants must pick up their own race materials. Photo I.D. eg. NID, School/college Identity Card, Passport, Driving License etc. is required. Race materials will not be mailed. Only, in emergency situations where participant cannot attend the kit distribution center/place then he/she can nominate someone to collect on their behalf. (If possible, informing us in advance by phone/email, but not mandatory)

A photographic proof of identity of the person visiting the kit distribution center/place on behalf of the registered participant; eg. NID, School/college identity card, passport, Driving License etc. is mandatory.

Can I register on the day of the event?

No. Requests for application will not be entertained post closure of respective registrations dates.
